Hi e2e,

My customer needs a reset IC for mic-controller, and he uses APX803L20 now.

I use cross reference to survey it, but TI seems to have no related solution.

So, I want to ask that TI has any solution for it.

Please give me advise about it.

    Hi user,

    We would love to help you find a solution for your customer, but I want to ask a few questions first to make a best recommendation:

    1) Does the customer specifically need a 2.0V threshold?

    2) Which package are they looking for? (APX803L has multiple packages)

    3) Is the customer only looking for a pin to pin solution?

    If the answer to #3 is no, we have the TPS3840DL20 available which is a SOT23-5 supervisor that will achieve 2.0V threshold.

    Hi Abhinav,

    They need to monitor 3v3 rail for MCU. the threshold is set as 2.9V.

    our competitor is only 3pin. the solution you suggested TPS3840DL20 is too complex.

    could you please help to propose a suitable one to compete APX803L?

    p2p is better if possible and package is as small as better.

    Hi Louis,

    As you said, since they are monitoring a 3.3V rail with the threshold at 2.9V, we have a great part to recommend for this specific application.

    Please see below based on which part they are using:

    APX803L20-29SA → TLV803EA29DBZR  (Pin1=GND)

    APX803L20-29SR → TLV803EA29RDBZR (Pin1=RESET)
