BQ24190: Low battery indicator LED flashes and is on even after battery is charged in 3.90v – 4.15v range

With the BQ24190RGER, we have the following issues:

1)      Low battery indicator LED flashes even after battery is charged.

2)      Charging indicator LED stays on after external charger is disconnected.

3)      With the battery circuit board powered off, once the battery reaches 3.88v the charging indicator LED persists even after removing the micro USB charger/power source.

4)      The charging indicator will turn off once the board is powered up.

5)      If the power level on the board reaches 3.90v – 4.15v and the micro USB is removed the charging indicator will remain on until the battery voltage falls below 3.88v.

6)      While running a battery life test, have a solid 9 hours of battery life until the low battery indicator LED lights. Then we have an additional 11 hours of battery life while the circuit is indicating low battery.
