Hi,

What is the suitable/recommended Zener Diode to be connected to VBUS pin for charging chip BQ25619?

Hi David:

The TVS diode at VBUS is optional. The diode at VBUS has 2 purpose. One purpose is to provide over voltage surge and the other purpose is to protect against reverse connection of input connector. If you do not need those protections, it is not necessary to have TVS diode there. BQ25619 can stand 22V at VBUS.
