Part Number: BQ25703A

Hi

1. Output voltage is 12.23v when DC input is 11-13v;

        - VDD =VREG =6V

        - CELL_BATPRESZ =3.8V;

         - ILIM_HIZ  = 2.8V;

2. When adjusting the input of 5~11V, the input current keeps jumping and cannot be stabilized.

And the sound of "drip drip drip drip";

3. Adjust CELL_BATPRESZ voltage divider, the output does not change;

Please suggest how to troubleshoot.

Thanks

  • Hey Star,

    Can you please provide the register readout of the charger when you change the input voltage down to 5-11V? I have a suspicion you are reducing the input voltage without changing the VINDPM threshold, causing the output voltage to sag or become unstable.

    Also, the CELL_BATPRESZ voltage is only measured when the input voltage on VBUS is applied. Changing the voltage while in operation will not instantaneously change the charging voltage or system voltage parameters.

    Regards,
