Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z100, , BQSTUDIO
I have a board designed with the BQ34z100 and have been using the EV2400 to read and program the BQ chip. I developed a test to monitor the BQ chip with the EV2400 and my custom board. I have been using the Vout2 pin of Port 2 to power my custom board and it has been working fine.
I had everything working as I had expected. I ordered 12pcs of the EV2400 and started setting up the tests and nothing was working. I figured out the problem was that there was no voltage on Vout2 of Port2 on the new EV2400s.
On the EV2400 I did the development with there is 4.2V on that pin but not on any of the new (12pcs) EV2400 I purchased.
Using BQStudio I checked the FW of the EV2400 and everything seems to be the same.
Is there some reason Vout2 is not showing 4.2V on these newer devices?
Thanks,
Erik
