BQ76200: BQ76200 damage mosfet

I use BQ76200 to driver high side MOSFET, it will damage the MOSFET when short test. The short current is 540A.How to solution this issue?

The MOSFET Vgs voltage wave as attachment when short.

Hi,

I am not sure what caused this damage, but this app note might be helpful to explore possible causes. It shows the result of short circuit testing in multiple different FET configurations with different FET devices. http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva729a/slva729a.pdf
