LM5088: Can I drive Sync pin of LM5088 with LM5008 & LM5116

Dear Sir/Mdam,

Can I cross check if LM5008 is capable of driving Sync pin of LM5088 and LM5116 as shown below?

My cust said they did a TINA simulation said is working but i just want to reconfirm as my understanding is Sync pin will need a position edge pulse to trigger the synchronousation.

Dear Marshall,

Sorry for the typo on the subject for this case but my block diagram is correct.

End cust actually use LM5008 in front of the circuit as constant ON 5V supply.

For their design, they want to use LM5008 to drive the Sync pin of the LM5088 and LM5116 to make sure circuit synchronisation. do you think it will work?

If you are using SW node to sync off off, kleep in mind that SW goes up to VIN which is specified up to 54VIN.

You can load down the SW node with a divider, and if you were to do signal condition with an op amp you need to consider the phase delay associated with it,

I would think an external clock would be the ideal and required solution.
