BQ40Z60: After calibration, Vbat is above or equal to Vsys

Hello,

When i do mesurement of Vbat and Vsys to do a calibration, i always have a small difference between the 2 BUT in the wrong order. Vbat > Vsys

I.e. Vbat = 14520mV and Vsys = 14510mV

What kind of erreur can produce this ? (process, hardware, firmware ? other ?)

Hi Gilles,

Please do your calibration of voltage with the FETs disabled. Also read voltage at the battery and input it and not the pin voltage.

but i don't understand "and not the pin voltage".

Do you speak about cell 1 measurement ? or Applied Pack Voltage, or other ?

Hi Gilles,

I meant measure battery voltage at the tab and not at the IC pin.
