TLV711: TLV711 dual output current size

May I ask whether the 200mA current of TLV711 is 200mA in two ways or each way can output 200mA? Thank you!

    HI Hank,

    The TLV711 has two 200mA channels so it is possible for each to support 200mA. That being said, you must consider the thermal heating of the device.

    The datasheet shows power dissipation guidelines as follows:

    This is the total power dissipation for both LDO's combined.

    If you need something with better thermal performance to gaurantee 200mA per channel, you may want to have a look at the TPS7A87.
