BQ40Z80: Manual Protection FET Control

Hi team,

Is there a simple way to manually control the bq40z80 protection FETs similar to the HostFETControl() on the bq78350? Or would it require using FET_EN + the FET toggles? I see the MFC feature as well but it seems to be for emergency shutdown only if I understand correctly.
