TPS23751: PMP21655 output transformer

Hello,

PMP21655 is 23V output design. The output transformer is used 7491195112 which datasheet says output voltage is 12V. Is this design able to output 23V with this 12V transformer, 7491195112?

Please let me know why this design can output 23V.

    Hi Watanabe-san,

    The transformer has 2x 12V windings and so we put them in series to get up to 24V of output voltage (doubles the voltage).

    As an additional note, you can put them in parallel for 12V output and double the current.

    The power stays the same at Type 2 power levels.
