Hi there,
According to UCC29002 datasheet, if output voltage of the module is greater than the VDD range of the UCC29002, it needs to use the RBIAS1, RBIAS2 resistors and the NPN transistor.
For example, if the output voltage of modules is 48 V, it is reasonable to have 1.0 kΩ and 3.3 kΩ resistors for RBIAS2 and RBIAS1 respectively. It will give bias voltage around 11.16 V that is absolutely in the operating range. Is it correct?
How should we choose a correct NPN transistor?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks & BR,
Ghasem
