TPS53622: Power Sequencing Inputs Needed

Hi,

I am using TPS53622A and need help for the below requirement:

We noticed power up sequencing needed for TPS53622A with Power Stage CSD95492QVM is 3.3V>>5V>>12V>>VR_EN.

Our Board we are generating 3.3V from 12V (coming from external card) only. So it seems 12V is already enabled for this situation. Please suggest any recommendation for the problem or someway we can tweak sequencing. Any power switch with enable control we can use ??

Another Query: We have our vendor board and it seems they used 5V>>3.3V>>12V>>VR_EN . Is there any impact for this sequence ??

Hi Vikas,

Purpose of suggestion power up sequencing in 3.3V>>5V>>12V>>VR_EN is to have pre-OVP enabled, if not, as long as VR_EN is the last one to be asserted, it is ok to use 5V>>3.3V>>12V>>VR_EN or other sequence as long as VR_EN is the last signal for power up and first signal for power down.

For the default pre-OVP level, you can refer to datasheet.

Hi Chasel,

Thanks for suggestion our Sequence goes this way:

12V>>5V>>3.3V>>VR_EN, as i understand it will also work but pre-OVP enabled feature we not use in that. Please suggest.
