LP8860-Q1: LP8860-Q1

Part Number: LP8860-Q1

Hi TI Team,

I am using LP8860-Q1 driver for controlling the display back light. In normal case it is working fine. when i change the input operating voltage of my board from 9 to 16 volt continuously within 20 Milli Seconds i am seeing flickering on the back light. when i try to debug my LED driver input PWM is stable but output of the Driver i could notice the flickering. could you please help me to get the minimum normal transition time between these voltages

Thanks,

Kathir

  • Hi ,

1.Could you give me your schematic and some waveform like FB pin , out pin ,GD pin and so on.

2.Which way you use to control dimming?

3.If you want to use LP886x series as back light LED driver I recommend you to use LP8863 ,it has better performance than 8860
