Hi team,
What is the difference between TPS92515-Q1 and TPS92515A-Q1?
regards,
Tsuji-san,
The TPS92515A disables the internal one time offset calibration circuit in the TPS92515.
This original TPS92515 device measures and cancels the input offset of the high side sense comparator by applying an equal but opposite offset.
For customers using external calibration methods (in their manufacturing flow), it is not desirable to have an internal one time calibration like this as there is always a possibility to have two different offset values when doing repeated testing of one device (1 LSB different). Perhaps they are calibrating to a tighter tolerance than our device can provide internally. So in this case, the TPS92515A was created to disable this calibration circuit to allow for tighter external calibration capabilities.
