TPS61169: Output current capability of EVM

Hi Team,

My customer wants to know how much output current capability TPS61169 EVM has. They want to check if following setup is acceptable on EVM or not
Does it work well on default setting? Or Do they need to change some components to try that?

[Setup]

Vin : 5V
Vout : 20V
Iout : 100mA

Any additional advices will be appreciated.

Hi Takashi,

Yes, TPS61169 can support this spec, but you need to change R5 from 10.2ohm to 2ohm to deliver 100mA.

Thanks, I understand EVM can drive 100mA with some components changes.

Sorry I have one more quick question.

How much current does the EVM drive as maximum?
I want to have your comments regarding especially thermal point.

Which has described the method to estimate the maximum output current for the LED driver, please use this method to calculate the maximum current. Since it is a systel level question.
