BQ24193: Will BQ24193 work if the supply is 18V?

Hello,

One of my customers can have up to 18V in. It's rate at max 22V, but will it start up and work at 18V?

    Jorgen,

    The recommended max input voltage is 17V. Although the absolute maximum input voltage voltage is 22V, please note that "These are stress ratings only, and functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated under recommended operating conditions is not implied. Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability."
