UCC25600: soft start setting and remote ON / OFF

Part Number: UCC25600

Dear Team,

1) What is the maximum voltage  for the SS-pin? Normally the IC is charging this pin to around 6V with and accurate level only being relevant below 4V. Above 4V the SS has finished. But what is the max voltage at this pin?

2) The max Cap size of this pin is specified with 1uF (recommended operating conditions). So there are limitations to his pin. In case of failure when the SS-Pin is pulled to GND is there a risk of energetically damaging the Pull-Down-Switch? E.G. there is a too high current for a too long time?

thanks

  • 1) 6V, if you use internal charging so you do not need to worry about its max voltage, if you want to use external to charge up then you nee to limit to 5V so not to exceed 6V.

    2) Yes, internal pull down switch consideration.
