Hi e2e,

Good day.

We have a customer asking for the “Absolute Maximum junction Temperature” for TPS54386TPWPRQ1?

Is it the same as the max “Operating Junction Temperature”of 125C?

Also, he is looking for the Rθ(JB) Junction-To-Board thermal resistance. The parameters will be used for power dissipation calculation. Or should he use ΨJB characterization parameter for his calculation? Either way, we would appreciate it if we could have both.

Yes the maximum junction temperature is 125 C. This is an older device that does not list the updated thermal parameters. I can request them, but it may take 2-3 weeks.

Hi John,

Thanks for the swift response.
I'll confirm with the customer his requirements. He mentioned that he will need either for the power dissipation calculation but I think he will need both. Still it's the customer who has the last say if he's willing to wait. I'll let you know as soon as i got a response.
