Hi,
I use TPS73701DBR Vin=3.3V, Vo=2.5V, Io=0.6A. Ta is 65C degree without fan.
Could it well work within thermal derating?
I calculated: 65+(3.3-2.5)*0.6*58.9=93.3C. is it right?

Hi Anders,
Normally TJA is the parameter to use to estimate the thermal performance of the device. That being said, since the TJC is higher than TJA, the device temperature is just a little bit lower. Please note, both of these numbers assume a JEDEC standard High-K board. Please check this short video on thermals.
I hope this answers your question.
