Hi all:

I have a question about bq24780s.We have to use 5m ohm/5m ohm sense resistor for 230W power.However,I can't get the POMN Gain from datasheet with 5m ohm/5m ohm sense resistor.What's the  POMN Gain with 5m ohm/5m ohm sense resistor?Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi,

    If you have all configurations set for 10 mOhm/10 mOhm (default settings) but instead use 5 mOhm/5 mOhm, then the PMON circuit will calculate 1/2 the true current, which will result in 1/2 the true power calculation.  So, if you have the device configured for a PMON Gain of 1 uA/W, you will instead observe 0.5 uA/W.

    Please note that the only recommended (and validated) values for R_AC and R_SR are 10 mOhm and 20 mOhm.  Using 5 mOhm instead will have worse signal to noise ratio.
