TPS562201: max duty cycle for 5V output

Part Number: TPS562201

Does TPS562201 can support 6.6V input 5V/300mA output at 70 degree temerature.

I use the Webench to modify the system show the input parameter coulnd't meet.

Doew AE or design team has the test data of the part output 5V/300mA min input voltage data or not, thanks.

addtion information

the part min off time is 310ns max and ton min normally 100ns, I calculate at 200KHz the input can catch the spec, but change to 540Khz, the output doesn't catch.

Hi,

Yes, this part can't support your application because of the min off time and voltage drop of Rdson, DCR of inductor and PCB resistance.

I see mostly D-CAP work mode part couldn't work at this parameter

some parts internal charge bump for the higher side MOSFET need 2.1V higher to start up.

Hi,

We don't have this data.

For D-CAP mode, it can't support large duty cycle because of the large min of time.

2.1V is the threshold of BOOT UVLO.
