Hi Team,
The LMR36015 datasheet recommends certain values for the inductor and output caps. However, for the following operating conditions, is it acceptable for the inductor and output caps to change?
Input Voltage: regulated 16V
Output Voltage: 12V
Output current max: 1.5A
Switching frequency: 2.1MHz
Is a 2.5uH inductor acceptable? Also, is it okay if there are 4 x 10uF output caps?

I tried running LMR36015-Q1 with 2.2uH inductor, and I didn't saw any subharmonic oscillations. Please see the scopeshot in the attachment.
I would say you can go ahead with 2.5uH inductor for your application. Though recommended inductor value is 6.8uH, seems it is really critical for your application to use 2.5uH inductor, you should be fine.
