TPS92611-Q1: DIAGEN Function and Restrictions on use

Part Number: TPS92611-Q1

Dear Sir/Ms.

There are restrictions on the use of DIAGEN in the datasheet.
With the DIAGEN feature, the device is able to avoid false error reports due to low dropout voltage and to drive maximum current in low-dropout mode when the input voltage is not high enough for current regulation.
Can you know why? What happens if you use it under these conditions?
And can be explained in another way, how is DIAGEN used?

Best Regards,

Kami Huang
