LM3404: PWM dimming

Hi,

I have three questions regarding to LM3404.

1. How much is the minimum PWM dimming frequency of the LM3404?

2. How can we calculate PWM dimming resolution of the LM3404?

3. Lower PWM dimming frequency is better resolution than higher one, right?

    Hi Kuramochi-sasn,

    Please see section 7.3.7 on page 13 for some of this explanation.  In general, a lower PWM dimming frequency has better resolution as you mentioned.  So 200Hz to 400 Hz should have plenty of resolution for you if you do not want the eye to perceive the PWM'ing.
