Hello,

Can BQ78Z100 be used for li-ion battery (18650) connected in parallel?

If so, is it possible to be controlled the same as series connected?

    Hi  Tatsumi-san,

    Yes, you can connect batteries in parallel and series. What happens in this case is that the resistance value of the cells in the Ra table will reduce by 50% approximately. The cells connected in parallel will be considered by the battery as one cell.
