Hi,

we are facing a HW design where we need to drive a 50Vrms 1.5W sine signal with frequency ~31.5kHz. I was looking if some LED driver could be of any use but I dind't find anything that could work.

Can someone give me a hint or a suitable PN for the design?

Hi Juanjo,

None of our DACs will be able to directly create a voltage output of this magnitude. About 40Vpp is the max of our precision DAC catalog.

I think your solution would be a DAC+Op Amp. For the DAC, your requirements will dictate the part selection, but I recommend an 16-bit, MDAC device like the DAC8811.
