LMG1210: pspice model simulated in cadence spectre - simulation error with encrypted models

Part Number: LMG1210
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMG1205

Dears,

I am trying to simulate the LMG1210 half-bridge driver in Cadence Spectre, by instantiating the PSpice model available on the website, which is “LMG1210 PSpice Transient Model (Rev. C)           PSpice Model”

I am having the following error:

Error found by spectre during circuit read-in.

ERROR (SFE-74): Spectre encountered an error in the protected block during circuit read-in of file '/home/…./lmg1210.lib'. Details about the error cannot be provided. To resolve the issue, it is recommended that you contact your library vendor.

Please, could you help in understanding what is going wrong?

I noticed that such a model is encrypted, maybe the reason is that encrypted pspice models are not supported by Cadence spectre.

I have tried also with the model for LMG1205, which is not encrypted, and everything is fine and I can easily run simulation.

Thanks you for your time and effort

Best Regards

Sebastiano
