Dear,

Now we design a new board ，there is a power cuircit with TPS53355, Vout= 0.6*(1 +R1/R2).

There is a question：

In the whole cuircit ，most needed devices were solded，but only R1 wasn't be solded，I want to know what will happen？How wii the Vout be, will the Vout be very high and burnout the load？

Jo,

Because IC uvp enabled 1.5ms after soft-start done, so IC detect Vout is lower than target after FB connected to GND with R2, PWM will be generated continuously to charge Vout during uvp disabled, then Vout will go higher level. And after soft-start UVP will be triggered...

So If R1 is not stuff, Vout will go higher, may cause the load damage if over voltage stress of the load,
