Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I attached Webench design for LM20154, simulation results was Vout oscillation.

If there found correction points or any bug, please let me know.

  • Hi Satoshi-san,

thanks or your post and the attached design reports from Webench.

I will need to internally check the reports with our modelling team and will come back to you with the findings.

Meanwhile, could you tell me which browser you have used for the simulation and which optimization you chose for WEBENCH?

    Thanks and best regards,

    Britta

    Thank you for reply,

I attached my Webench design below, please check these data.

If you need any other information, please let me know.

※Classic(Flash) Webench was the same results.

  • Satoshi-san,

The oscillation / noise you are observing is due to some issue with the SPICE model. The component value suggestions from WEBENCH look good.

We are requesting the SPICE model team to create a new PSPICE model for this part. This will go through the prioritization process and may take long time based on the current modeling queue. But once the model is created we will publish the new model on the product folder on ti.com and also integrate the model into WEBENCH. Unfortunately I will not be able to provide timeline for you on when the fix will be available.

If you have any additional questions on the design or need help to review the design please share and the support team from product line will be able to help.

    Thank you and Best Regards,

    Srikanth Pam
