Hello Tony,

The UCC28056 transition mode PFC pre-regulator has shown THD performance of less than 18% from 50% to 100 load. Please refer to figure 6 in the EVM users guide for THD performance.

For sub 6% at full load you should consider using the UCC28180 which can achieve less than 22% THD at 20% load at 230V RMS and less than 8% at full load.

Figure 5 in the UCC28180EVM-573 shows typical THD curves for this topology.
