CCS/TPS53627: How to program the TPS53627?

Hi,

I have found user‘s guide about how to use fusion digital power to program TPS53627. It is a very simple tool. But I want to know whether it can be programmed by CCS with C language?

Hi,

TPS53627 has no PMBus support and only can use pinstrap to program the configuration.

So, for the TPS53679, it has the pmbus and it can use CCS to program, right?

Yes, you are right. TPS53622A/TPS53659A/TPS53679 have the PMBus support.

I have one question about /TPS53679. Please help me to answer it.

For the most controller ic, such as 3138, it has pmbus but no SVID. So, I want to know whether TPS53679 can be regarded as the bridge betwwen the SVID and Pmbus? To be specific, whether I can write a piece of code, which transfers the SVID cmd to Pmbus cmd, in oder to realize the function of SVID? Of course, the data rate is different. but fifo can be used in this situation to overcome it.

No, TPS53679 cannot be used as a PMBus/SVID bridge.
