Can I connet PWM-pin and SUPPLY-pin directly?

Jumper-5 of TPS92612EVM is as follows.
"PWM is connected to SUPPLY via a resistor divider."

Hi,

It's OK to connect the PWN pin derectly to Supply.But we recommend you to add a resistor to protect the device.
