EV2400: EV2400 can not detect with PC.

Part Number: EV2400
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

I have purchased a new EV2400. When used with battery management studio, the operating system has also tried WIN7 & WIN10, but it has not been able to detect with PC.
I can't update Firmware because the computer can't detect the EV2400.
What is the problem?

  • Hi Chang,

Please disconnect the ev2400 and reconnect it to the PC. Your LEDs should turn on when the ev2400 is connected to the PC. The ev2400 is a HID device and the drivers come with windows. If you are attempting to update the fw on it, please run it in the command prompt as follows "EV2400_Updater_v0028.exe -s" without the quotes and wait for it to finish. Once it is done, your ev2400 will work.

  • tried your method, but it won't work.
Battery management studio can't connect with EV2400, so it can't update Firmware.
Is there any other solution or is it possible to change the goods?

  • Hi Chang,

You don't do the firmware update on the ev2400 with bqstudio. To run in -smode, your screen should look like this.

Also, are the LEDs on the ev2400 lit up.? If they are not your box is damaged. If they are, press the reset button on the box to reset the device.

    thanks

  • Hi

I tried to update the firmware under Smode, the same is a failure, the window is closed directly

I tried to press the reset button and it failed.
1PCE EV2400 LED is not lit, 2PCS LED is on, but all methods are invalid.

I also borrowed the EV2400 from my battery manufacturer. It is ok.
Taiwan TI FAE has also come to help me confirm that it is damaged.

I purchased the EV2400 agent and said that I need to return the goods to TI E2E to give me a ticket number.

    What should I do?

  • Hi

The e2e forums is for resolving technical problems so i am sorry, we can't help you on here. Pls contact your TI FAE and have him order you a new ev2400

    thanks
