BQ25606: Battery is not charging completely

Hello,

I have the board with schematic built as below. All the output voltages seem to be working. The resistor around ILIM is 415 Ohms and resistor for ICHG is set to 1.051k Ohms.

Now I have set the charging current on power supply as 1.1A at 5V and I provide input to the VUSB directly.

I see that the status led is on and battery is charging at 300mA current. I even notice the voltage at battery is increasing from 3V - 4.2V. Eventually IC went into voltage regulation mode.

In my case the charger never reached ICHG current which was set to 600mA current approx.

Am I missing something here? Why is the charge current not reaching 600mA.

Any input would be helpful.

What are the VBUS pin voltage and VBUS current?

VBUS = 5V

I have applied this voltage directly from external power supply at VBUS pin. The current draw I see is 155mA after 1hr of charging but it peaked only till 300mA.

The current limit on external power supply is set to 1.1 A.
