[TPS65941] About GPIO's status

Hi,

I have a question about TPS65941.

I checked I/O levels of PMIC, and the GPIO11 of PMIC-A is pulled up to VDA_MCU_1V8 in EVM schematic. (GPIO4 of PMIC-B is also pulled up to VDDR_BIAS_1V1)

Is it correct? The output pin type of GPIO4(IO level is 1.8V) and 11(IO level is 3.3V) is push-pull, so I think this pin doesn't need to be pulled up.

Could you please give me a comment?

Hi, Manwoo,

The GPIO11 of PMIC-A is an Open Drain output; it can be pulled up to VDA_MCU_1V8.

The GPIO4 of PMIC-B is a 1.8V PP (Push-Pull) output; it doesn't need to be pulled up; and it should not be pulled up to 1.1V.

Hi, Manwoo,

FYI, we have changed the GPIO4 of PMIC-B from a 1.8V PP (Push-Pull) output to OD (Open Drain) output which allows it being pulled up to 1.1V for lower level logic control. Please make your design change accordingly.
