TPS2553D: Auto Retry Function Calculation

Hello team,

Would you mind telling me how to calculate the auto-retry time on this device?

According to the DS, it would be calculated by the external register(R_fault?) & capacitor(C_retry?).

    Hi sir,

    As Fault asserts, the voltage of EN pin is discharged to about 0V. Then the part is disabled. After that, the input power supply will charge to capacitor CRETRY. So the circuit is simplified to RC one-order circuit. As the voltage of EN pin has been charged to the turn on threshold(from datasheet), the part will be enabled. So you can calculate the time from 0V to the threshold time of  RC circuit.
