LM5002: The best recommended boost device to generate 40V from 12V rail

Hi Team,

My customer is just looking for boost device to generate 40V@100mA from 12V rail.

Could you tell me the best recommended device such the use case?

1st candidate is LM5002 for now.

Hi Onawa-san,

LM5002 current limit minimum value is 0.4A. I'd suggest you use LM5001.

Then, I notice that LMR64010 might meet their requirement as well. Do you think LMR64010 can be used to generate 40V?

Hi Onawa-san,

LMR64010 SW pin maximum voltage is 40V. It's better to leave some margin.
