Hi,

Can the LMR64010 work well with no load condition?

I inquiried because the load current is not reached to 0mA on graphs of the datasheet .

Hi Kuramochi,

LMR64010 switching frequency reduces lower than 1.6MHz in no load condition, similar to PFM mode. Ripple is higher than CCM mode. If you don't care about the switching frequency and ripple. you could use this device.

We mind to reduce frequency on no load condition .

Do non-synchronous rectifier boost converter reduce frequency on no load condition?

Hi Kuramochi,

Yes. You may need to use a fixed frequency synchronous boost converter.
