BQ27531-G1: Additional calibration commands

Fuel gauge team,

Our customer is using the bq27531-G1 and finding some calibration commands are not listed in the User's Guide (Rev A, Jun 2019). For example, Control Commands 0x0081 and 0x002d. Are these documented somewhere else, and can you share that please?

Hi Darren,

Where are you seeing those parameters from? I don't see tehm in the TRM I believe those are just commands that need to be sent when doing calibration as would have been stipulated in the app note you likely pulled them from.

I couldn't find them either. The customer pointed them out in this document:

It just says Enable and Enter Calibration. Are there more details you can provide?

Hi Darren,

Those are just commands to put the gauge in calibration mode. There are no further details on them.

You can reference documentation on a different gauge as that app note was generic for multiple gauges. This one below contains the commands.
