BQ2057: Do TI BQ2057 and BQ24725ARGRR pass the new safety standard of IEC/EN/UL 62368-1?

Part Number: BQ2057

Hello,

On behalf of a customer, I would like to post their question to you:

As you may know that IT/AV new safety standard IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 will be implemented very soon, we are certifying our products according to this new standard, in this new standard, there is a requirement that the charging current can’t exceed our max. specified charging current under single fault (short circuit or open circuit) condition; When we performed short circuit to your IC(BQ2057 and  BQ24725ARGRR), the charging current exceeding our max. specified charging current, this is failure;

But if the IC can meet IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 Annex G.2 requirement, as below snapshot, then short circuit to the IC is not required, per certification office information, many battery charging IC manufacturer already pass this test, can you help to confirm whether your IC can pass this test? If yes, please share your report to me;
