TPS61089: Part Status

Part Number: TPS61089

Support Team.

Is TPS61089RNRR still considered to be good for new designs or is there an alternative part number that is recommended? Altium has been raising flags that it's not recommended for new designs but the part still shows to be Active with a fairly large quantity in stock.

I received the warning in Altium when I created a Bill Of Materials (BOM).

This seems to occur when I use Altiums' built in "Manufacturer Part Search" to pull in the part information. No, I am not a TI employee.

Got it! Thanks for the update.

So the Altiums information is not correct! TPS61089 is a very new part (released in 2017), and the performance is very good, many customer use it. So you can choose it in your design.
