how BQ34Z100 estimates the initial SOC?

I mean, just after FW is programmed, at first POR.

Hi Vincenzo,

The initial SOC is esimated from a combination of the OCV and avg I last run compensated load.

Hi Vincenzo,

When the gauge is initialized the IR drop due to a load has to be accounted for as well to estimate RSOC. Since there is no history to the load at the point of initialization, the avg I last run is used. That is the compensated load.
