Hello,

I want to develop and try my own battery management system algorithms. Thus, I need to code the chip on my own. I want to learn if that is possible; if so , how?

    Hi Yusuf,
    Thank you for your interest in BQ76940.
    You can use BQ76940 to measure the voltage, current & temperature of your battery pack and, to develop your own BMS algorithm, you need to compute the data measured by the BQ76940 onto your own MCU.

    Please have a look at the training videos such as this one for a better understanding on battery management.
