Hello everyone,
I am designing a solar powered device from a 22V (max) solar panel and a 3.7V 4000mAh (1S2P) battery pack, but the datasheet says the UVLO is 3.85V.
Is it correct to use a 3.7V battery in this IC?
I would not want to change the CI because it has many useful features.

The UVLO is for the VCC pin. So, if your solar panel drops below 3.85V and, assuming you have a diode OR to VCC from battery, if the battery drops below 3.85V+diode drop, the charger is disabled. The charger is able to charge a 1S LiIon cell.
The BQ24650 of the same family is slightly better suited for solar power. I suggest you read the app notes below before you finish your design.
