TPS2660: TPS26600 and TPS26601

Part Number: TPS2660
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2662

I am looking for UL report to show that the part (TPS26600 and TPS26601) were tested for 60V. I checked with UL and they could not find any file to show that the device was tested for up to 60V input. Please help ! Thank you

  • Hello,

For UL2367 certification, TPS26600 and TPS26601 devices are tested up-to 55Vdc. This is provided in UL File No. E169910.

  • Hello:

Thank you for the information. I have 2 more questions:

    - Does TI plan to revise its UL certification to 60V to be in line with the datasheet? We want to use this chip with 56V input (and that would be outside the range of 55V tested with UL right now)

    - Does TI have the UL certification for TPS26630 and TPS26631 yet? If not, do you have a timeline of when it will certified (datasheet says it's UL pending)?

    Thank you,

    Hung

UL certification of TPS2663x is going on. It is expected to finish by end of 2019. You can also consider TPS2662 devices. TPS2662 devices have been certified up-to 57Vdc.

  • Hello Lokesh,

    Thank you for the info.

We can not use the TPS2662 because of low current rating.

    For TPS2663x:

    - Do you know if the certification will be up to at least 56V?

    - We are very interested in the TPS2663x and eager for its UL completion. Is there a way to know as soon as the UL certification is complete? Is there a contact we can regular ask for the status of its UL certification progress?

    Thank you

    - Hung
