One of my customers is designing their own PCB to evaluate TPS54308 for their new products.
They have the following questions about output capacitor ESR. Could you please give me your reply?
Q1. ESR can be calculated by equation 13 on page 17 in TPS54308 datasheet(SLUSCV2).
Also capacitor ESR is changed much by frequency. (For example, 10ohm (at 0.1Hz) ~ 3mohm (at 1MHz)
Which ESR frequency should be compared with the valure calculated by the equation?
Is it the switching frequency of TPS54308?
