LM66100: no RCB with low reverse current

hello,

we have a design with one LM66100 to protect a battery (3.6V) from reverse current, alternative power source is USB with 5V.

with battery and no USB connected LM66100 works

with no battery and with USB connected LM66100 works

when using both power sources, LM66100 is not switching off the reverse current flow from USB to battery

I_rc=80mA

any ideas?

Hey Stefan,

Is the reverse current only during the switchover or is it always present?

I have a few suggestions that may help:

1. Tie CE` to the node before the DT3 diode and retest this should help with the voltage comparison circuitry.

2. Use a discrete PMOS instead of a diode to OR as shown in the datasheet

3. Use 2x LM66100s to OR as shown in the datasheet

i try No.1. now and write the results on monday.
