TPS62130: TPS62130 switching frequency

Hi Team,

One of my customer is evaluating our TPS62130. Now he asks for the best switching frequency to avoid EMC issues. 1.25 MHz or 2.5 MHz?

What is the application? Any need to avoid the AM band?

Martin,

If AM band is not an issue then the lower switching frequency should give better EMI performance. You will also see higher efficiency. The trade off is that lower switching frequency will result in a larger size solution.
