we are considering BQ27421-G1 as alternative to MAX17055 Fuel Gauge.

do you have better proposal in case?

    Hello Vincenzo,

    That's a good choice, I also recommend looking at the bq27z561. We have a low power mode for that device and the sleep current of 11 uA is comparable to the 7 uA for the MAX device as opposed to the bq27421. If size is an issue, I would recommend going with the bq27421 with the integrated sense resistor. Keep in mind that sense resistor can only tolerate 2.5 amps from the DS.
